Privacy & beta notice
What we collect
We store your account email, a salted password hash, session records, your acceptance of this notice and the business profiles you choose to save. Do not include confidential information in business descriptions. We use hashed IP and email rate-limit keys to reduce abuse.
How it is used
Your information powers your private dashboard and account security. Cloudflare hosts this service and stores its application data. We do not sell your information. This beta does not use advertising cookies or send marketing emails. A necessary, secure session cookie keeps you signed in for up to seven days.
What happens with directories
Submissions are paused. Saving a profile does not send it to directories or charge you. Choosing Read website fetches the supported public homepage to extract suggested business details. The request identifies DirectoryChamp to the website. Those details remain a draft until you save them. When campaigns become available, you will review the details and destinations before authorizing submissions. Public directory listings will necessarily contain the business information you approve.
Retention and requests
Profiles and accounts remain stored while the beta operates or until removed in response to your request. Expired sessions and abuse-limit records are cleaned up daily. To request access, correction or deletion, contact the DirectoryChamp operator who supplied your private beta code, using that same contact channel. Self-service account deletion is not available yet.
Early beta limitations
Access requires a private beta code. Email ownership verification and password recovery are not available yet, so use an email address you own and save your password securely. Features may change, and data may need migration as the service develops. No payment information is collected. Directory acceptance, backlinks, indexing and search rankings are not guaranteed.
